Río Texture Cream is our best selling product for a reason! With an exceptionally creamy, smooth scoop and application, Río is versatile and easy to use in all hair lengths. Río delivers lightweight and airy texture when used in dry hair, or tighter controlled hairstyles when used in damp hair. It’s got a medium hold to keep your hair in place and keep you looking great throughout the day. Need more hold? Use a bit more product to dial it up.

🌱 Vegan friendly with no animal-derived ingredients.

Río Texture Cream comes in a 4 oz/ 113 g plastic jar in your choice of scent.

Distilled Water, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Kaolin, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Wax, Moroccan Lava (Rhassoul) Clay, Bentonite, Microcrystalline Wax, Vitis Vinifera (Grapeseed) Oil, Fragrance, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, Sunflower Lecithin, Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol (and) Sorbic Acid

Scoop out a small amount of the product, break it down just enough to spread in the palms of your hands. Then apply evenly to damp or dry hair. Style as desired.

For increased hold and texture, apply a small amount of product to damp hair, then blow dry. Apply more product as needed to finish your style.

Río Texture Cream rinses out almost entirely with warm water and washes out completely with shampoo.

Clarity - Scented with the aroma chemical Iso E Super. Overall a highly neutral, soft, and pleasant aroma, with smooth, woody, and amber aspects. This scent choice is great for layering with other fragrances or for a virtually unscented option.

Sierra - Refined and sophisticated, yet a bit rugged with top notes of cardamom, aromatic sandalwood and amber, followed by a base of orchid, leather, musk, and vanilla.

Harmony - A rich, intoxicating aroma with notes of lemon, pink pepper, neroli, rum, tobacco leaf, and vanilla bean.

Best hair styling product I've ever used

I've been looking for a replacement for a molding clay product I used for over 15 years, and was recommended to Rio after trying literally over 20+ clays. Rio has a smooth scoop, great application, and long-lasting all day medium hold that I can re-work as needed. I will be buying more of this, and additional Lodestar products soon! Thank you Lodestar for making Rio! Please don't stop making it :)

Love the scent, love the hold. I love how easy it washes out as well.

Unbelievably good in my hair

Always had issues with hair product feeling sticky, rough and oily in the hair, but not with Rio nor Everglade. Fantastic products, easy application, decent hold through the day, feels very natural in the hair, can run your hand through it all day long with no issues. It's great. Washes out pretty easily too. Just a product with zero downsides, for me.

10/10 Performance, 3/10 Scent - Overall, would recommend

First time buyer. The cream worked exactly as described. Per the instructions, I used a little when my hair was damp and then once again after I blow dried it. The texture and hold was immaculate. It's not sticky at all and it doesn't dry my hair out. For me, it washed out pretty easily with some shampoo and conditioner. It's honestly been the best hair styling product I've used - performance wise.

I did find the scent (Harmony) to be a little disappointing. As another reviewer described, it smelled a bit like play dough. I didn't want to knock it too much because I could've just gotten a bad jar, but I was expecting something sort of sweet/spicy and warm based on the fragrance notes.
