Wayfinder Pomade

Preformance/Scent/Ease of use! It's all 10/10

This styles beautifully, It has a nice medium hold and like others have said, it feels like an oil based. Unfortunately, like other Lodestar products, the scent is a deal breaker for me. After applying, all I could smell was the pomade. It was worse for my wife, who is very scent sensitive. Into the trash bin this will go. I wish Kathy would make unscented/low scent options available in more than Rio. Not everyone wants to smell so strongly.

This pomade is astounding. It breaks down and applies easier than any medium pomade I’ve used before. I think the hold and shine description is spot on. It’s the most malleable pomade I’ve ever used as well. I’ve used many medium to firm pomades that say they don’t harden up and remain malleable but then it would firm up a bit too much for my liking. Wayfinder, however, truly feels like an oil based pomade without any of the negatives. Wayfinder is incredibly versatile in that it finger combs like a freaking dream if you want to go for a more natural texture. The scent is great and very inoffensive. I honest to God can’t think of a negative for this product. I do hope that it eventually becomes available in more scents down the road. I think I’m going to take a break from trying other pomades because this is basically my holy grail in terms of hair products. I don’t see another one doing any better for what I look for in a pomade. Absolutely 10/10 :)

Usually stick to clays, creams, and pastes but I’m loving this pomade. Easy to apply, easy to restyle, feels soft in hair, healthy looking shine. On top of it, the Oro scent might be Kathy’s best creation yet. 10/10 product
