Polaris Wax Cream is a re-release of the same formula we offered in the 2023 Monster Mash collaboration (a Halloween project with multiple haircare brands), Werewolf. Werewolf sold out incredibly fast and we had tons of great feedback and requests for more of this product from our customers. As a result we’ve decided to bring it back as part of our permanent line as Polaris Wax Cream.
Polaris is a super versatile styling cream that offers a light/natural shine and medium hold while feeling lightweight in the hair. Slickback? Texture? This stuff can do it all. Polaris is probably our most versatile and user-friendly formula. It is exceptionally creamy - virtually lotion-like, making it super easy to use in all hair lengths and types.

Polaris comes in a 4 oz/ 113 g plastic jar.
**Please note that the jar includes an inner disc liner to help prevent spilling of the product when opening after shipping, as contents may shift during transit to you. The liner may be discarded.

My hair type is fine and wavy,
I apply product in damp or towel dry hair and has no pull or tug, I then blow dry, has good volume and I would say medium hold with a natural shine. Great product the only complain is the cerulean scent is way to strong. I will try the clarity scent next time, over all I am happy with the product and would recommend.

Like others have said, there is SO much you can do with this product. For me, it works great as a prestyler, a finishing product, on damp hair, on dry hair, on both longer and shorter hairstyles, etc. It does a great job of controlling the hair and providing solid volume. You can easily get a medium to medium-firm hold out of it depending on how much you use. It truly feels like the perfect blend of Everglade and Tsunami. I love all of Kathy's products, but I REALLY love this one.

This is my favorite from Lodestar. A great waxy cream with a low to medium hold, a beautiful natural sheen finish and great style pliability. One can use this for pretty much every hairstyle, works also great as a pre or post styler. And the cerulean scent is incredibly good. A true killer product.

This is a really versatile everyday pomade with easy apply and firm hold. With my hair on the dryer side I can towel dry or blow dry to get natural/semi-matte textured look. Also apply bit of hair oil to get a low shine look. There is just enough stickiness to hold everything together. If you liked the discontinued Aurora pomade this might be a close replacement but with less slickness and shine.
By the way, I picked up the Clarity scent option which has ISO e Super which has a faint sweet woody amber like scent. So it won't clash with your personal scent choice or bother people.

Polaris is a natural-finish product that scoops out and applies like a dream. Once it sets in the hair, it has a distinct waxiness, but it can easily be broken up for a more matte finish with texture. It also has a slightly thicker consistency than Werewolf, which makes things much easier. Whether I want a tight or loose style, Polaris hits every mark for me. Overall, I consider it the best and most versatile Lodestar product to date.
