Polaris Wax Cream is a re-release of the same formula we offered in the 2023 Monster Mash collaboration (a Halloween project with multiple haircare brands), Werewolf. Werewolf sold out incredibly fast and we had tons of great feedback and requests for more of this product from our customers. As a result we’ve decided to bring it back as part of our permanent line as Polaris Wax Cream.

Polaris is a super versatile styling cream that offers a light/natural shine and medium hold while feeling lightweight in the hair. Slickback? Texture? This stuff can do it all. Polaris is probably our most versatile and user-friendly formula. It is exceptionally creamy - virtually lotion-like, making it super easy to use in all hair lengths and types.

🌱 Vegan friendly with no animal-derived ingredients. 

Polaris comes in a 4 oz/ 113 g plastic jar.

**Please note that the jar includes an inner disc liner to help prevent spilling of the product when opening after shipping, as contents may shift during transit to you. The liner may be discarded.

Ingredients: Water, Kaolin, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Wax, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grapeseed) Oil, Polysorbate 80, Cannabis Sativa (Hemp Seed) Oil, Ceteareth-20, Cetearyl Alcohol, Fragrance, Stearic Acid, Sunflower Lecithin, Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol (and) Sorbic Acid

For external use only. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Scoop out a small amount of the product, break it down just enough to spread in the palms of your hands. Then apply evenly to damp or dry hair. Style as desired.

Cerulean - a sophisticated fragrance which is both clean and fresh but with an incredible velvety, earthy quality. Opening with notes of tangy grapefruit and delicate florals, Cerulean is anchored by a base of earthy woods, oakmoss, and musk.

Clarity - Scented with the aroma chemical Iso E Super. Overall a highly neutral, soft, and pleasant aroma, with smooth, woody, and amber aspects. This scent choice is great for layering with other fragrances or for a virtually unscented option.

Great Hold, even with a 12 Hour Shift

As a bedside nurse, I needed a product that was going to keep my hair in style and not floppy as I worked through my long shift. This product is excellent, and even holds well into the next day if necessary. I like the subtle smell, and it spreads easily and quickly. Compared to my last product, it has cut my hair dryer time in half and I haven't had any issues getting my hair into shape. I'd definitely buy this product again!

cross between Rio and Everglade

it's really good but I honestly don't like the cerulean scent, it's very strong and comes off a bit more like a chemical salon smell. It's an easy application that feels smooth to run your hand through, similar to Everglade with a tad less shine and more hold but not as tuggy or matte as Rio. Definitely will buy again in the future, but I hope there are more scents, I'd even prefer a non-scented/neutral one

very versatile pomade

I like this one quite a lot, very natural looking shine and fairly unscented with clarity. I just wish this was always in stock, the "scented" options from lodestar I've always found a little too scented and clarity isn't always stocked. It's a shame because I think Lodestar is the best pomade maker around and I like to wear my own fragrances.

Really, really good!

The pomade is creamy, and very easy to apply to the hair. The cerulean scent is amazing! No tugging, and very surprisingly is how this holds. It says a medium hold, but it feels strong, not complaining tho. Overall, 10/10 product, will buy more of these in the future!

Incredible

An absolutely incredible product. I've never really used any type of wax cream but this product works no matter how I style it, it just puts my hair where it needs to be. Great work Lodestar!
